Ed
Jean//"God is gracious"
Noel//"Christmas"
Aiko//"beloved one, little one"[/ul]
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Ed is terribly normal, at least from a standpoint. He stands at a normal five-foot eight, and weighs an also normal one-hundred and thirty-four pounds. He has a mid-muscular form, his biceps, thighs, and other vital points well-built to a normal, lean point. When in normal stance, the teen usually leans to left, and keeps his arms held down to the side, and his standing frame is simple, and rather laid-back. However, when in ‘battle‘, or in a desperate fighting situation, his stance is well-balanced on both legs, and keeps both sides of the body well-guarded, or kept at an advantage stance.
His skin is a light tan, but is bleached with a shade of dark brown when in the shade, and the bare spots are kept well cleansed, and free of any scars or marks. The young man’s hair is a rather normal black, usually a clean look to it and kept, normally, straight. It reaches down to the tip of his shoulders, inches barely reaching against his back, and on the sides of his face, the hair reaches down to the mid-segment of his neck, and he is sometimes seen wrapping up the head of hair with a plain white bandanna. When on, it gently holds back the black hair on the top of his head, and is tied behind the simple, round frame. He doesn’t intend to keep it any shorter, nor longer, then it already is.
Ed’s face, whether close, or far away, seems to stick out from others, mostly in the face it‘s…feminine. His cheeks are usually light, barely flushed, and his chin is smooth, and short proportioned to his lips, which are a thin, light pink color. When smiling, his dimples are rather small, and seem to fit his small, soft face rather well. Then, his eyes are a rather soft, green tint, and they seem to calmly look at a person, or object, with calm, laidback tone, his eyelid skin hanging down low over his eyes. The top of his eyelid held low, about midway, Ed seems to have a lazy look in his eyes, but, he seems to stray far away from this appearance. When running, they are opened a bit wider, and hold the same atone to it. Then, lastly, his face is rounded off by simple, but unfortunately for him, woman-like features, such as his somewhat thick eyebrows, cauliflower, thin shaped ears, and normally thick, short length neck. His nose is thin and small, it gently rounding off his small face. This doesn’t mean it can’t be twisted into a concerned, stern, or athletic look either; When in these situations, Sean holds a stern emotion, and keeps a straight, dark look to the eyes and other facial features.
His clothes attire is started off with a somewhat long necklace, which is chained by small, white colored shell pieces, which leads down to the top of his exterior scapula. The clothes are first outfitted with a light, white black shirt that stretches from the top of shoulders, down to the mid-segment of his hips.
Then, over the white cloths and shirt, is firstly a white, thin sweater striped with olive green thick lines, that stretches down farther then the white shirt, and the sleek, somewhat-tight sleeves reaching down about three inches past his elbow. He also wears a light, cherry red sweater, and is a bit thin, the sleeves neatly rounded about his arms, and white cloths sewn under the coat. The coat is then nicely finished off with a red material hood that is usually kept down, except for in the rain. Ed’s jeans are comfortably worn around his legs, and are a normal blue jean color. Then, on his feet, are well-kept, black Chuck Taylor converse shoes, which are mid-hi-tops, and cover a pair of white, simple socks.
Power:
Kyo Kobushi:: (Large Fists)
Ed, as if somehow affected by the car accident, has the abnormal ability to emit, literally, spiritual hands from his own. In a light ray of shimmering blue, a skin of spiritual energy seeps over his own hands, and in a matter of seconds, begins to enlarge. In a new range of a five inch radius from his original hands and fingers, and is transparent to most everyday objects and materials, however, he can solidify the fists if he concentrates his energy into the most specific area, whether it be the whole hand, or just a single finger. This, of course, takes energy out of Ed, and can sometimes, easily, wear him down, even in the most dire of situations (which can sometime explain the ‘tired’ look in his eyes). These ’hands’ consist of only two powers, at least known to Ed at the moment, as he had only discovered the ability as of late.
When his hands are in regular, automatic spirit form, and Ed is being charged by a un-dodge able foe, he has the power to create a energy wave around him, or someone else. Using both of his hands (which is needed to perform in accuracy of the wave) Ed first connects his hands together, the index fingers, and outstretched thumbs, touching to form an open triangle in the middle. Then, if he says the words, ’Uxe’, the triangle formed starts to shimmer in a ray of blue light, and in a vein-like appearance, it spreads to his spirit hands with quick speed. In a matter of seconds, his hands are covered in a shining, brighter blue light, telling the teenager it’s time to start the energy wave.
At this time, Ed is able to move his hands apart as he pleases, and he now can begin forming the energy wall. If he didn’t want to use it right at that moment, the American would have to tighten his hands into fists, and wait until the right moment would come -- when he finally uses the wave, Ed outstretches his fingers into an open palm, and as if pantomiming a janitor cleaning windows, he moves his hands to form the wave. When done with the energy wall, Ed then says ’Bu’, and closes his hands into a fist, the shield solidifying into a hard-cased wall/shield, which is made, of course, of hardened spirit energy particles.
It would take a substantial amount of energy power to break through this, and even at that, Ed can create multiple layers to even further pack the energy wall. To make a simple wave, Ed only needs to form a single, quick ’slash’ in the form of the wall, and for him to make a large, more powerful energy wall, he would make the outline of the certain shape, (example being, a rectangle) and as he ended the shape, form a dagger-like shape with his fingers, as if to seal the object. At that time, the outline, empty shape is filled with the blue energy, as if a cup being filled with water. Again, this energy wall takes energy out of Ed, and it depends on how big or long the wave can be. To bring out further power of this wall, the teenager still needs to undergo further training and strengthening of the energy wave, which, he tries to do in his spare time.
Little Slugger: (Self-explanatory|Secondary Power)
This is Ed’s second power, which he discovered by himself after learning to solidify his spirit hands. When in attack form, all the teen needs to do to enact the ‘Little Slugger’ is first solidify his spirit hands, (and he can either do one of his hands in specific, or both) and focus his attack chance at the enemy. When striking, if he wants the fists to connect, Ed needs to make sure his hands solidify against the enemy’s ‘surface’, and it doesn’t dissimilate. His Little Slugger attack is simple, as he waits for the right time to strike in certain situations, but he can hold the Little Slugger form for a good amount of time. It also depends on Ed’s energy on how long he can hold it, but when he uses it right, the attacks can be used over and over again in consistent, powerful form. He is still getting used to the spirit hands, however, so the Little Slugger isn’t quite perfected yet, but it’s close.

Abnormal Sensory:: Possibly affected from past moments, Ed has the abnormal ‘talent’ of sensing a being, human or spirit. With his unusually gifted hearing, he could hear footsteps from another room, or a block away. And along that, he has sight that is able to spot a keen detail on an object, and even see a ghostly spirit. Ever since his secret childhood, Ed has been able to see beings of the deceased kind, from a elderly person, to a murdered one, he has seen almost hundreds of passing spirits. Sometimes communicating to these beings, the teenager sometimes carry conversations with the ghosts, and can even run his fingers over the souls. Considering this an abnormal, secretive talent, Ed had decided to keep it secret.
Above-Normal Flexibility:: Once again, it’s as if his talents betray the laid-back appearance. Without even noticing it, Ed can perform certain acrobatic feats (and old gene passed down from his mother) when doing simple tasks. When simply moving inbetween two tight objects, or jumping over a large object, he seems to do it with slight ease. However, like said, he seems to perform it almost automatically. Another example, is if he was in a simple standing position, and he was required to run, he would tip forward instantly, and run with his hands in the jean or coat pockets. Despite this, Ed strays far from any sports activities, and decides against running in meaningless situations. However, if needed to, as if to help a person in need, he will almost immediately jump in to help the situation.

Being[/u][/b]
Mister
Ed[/b][/u]
How can you describe Ed? It would take pages of words, some containing complicated dashes of vowels, meant to paint a picture of this young teen, on the different hand, others a simple brush of thoughtless demeanor. To sum him up in a round of the following paragraphs, you would possibly want to know about him more, but with gusto, this young teenager will be explained, from his small smile that slips onto the peach lips, to the voice that lifts out of those lips.
His personality is simple. He usually carries a calm, serene smile, and is strangely optimistic in the weirdest of situations. As if the locks of black hair act like a shield, Ed seems to never let insults, light disappointment, or any other setback fluster him. He tends to make many mistakes, but otherwise doesn't seem to fret too much. His cool, laid back, simple persona tends to confuse others around him. Ed's looks somewhat match his personality, for the most part, but he also strays far away from self-pity, or letting anyone see that he has a weakness.
What seems weird also, is that the teen never seems to let out much to strangers, and doesn't let out everything at once. It might take a while for a complete stranger to get out what his last name is, or what his favorite food is, but if you do happen to get inside that slightly hard shell of Ed, it means he has, somewhat, a fondness for you.
The way Ed expresses himself, or at least, responds normally to other people, is by saying a simple hello, nodding, or offering a smile. Coming from a very quiet, lonely childhood, the teenager seems to reflect off of the way he lived. He has respect for those that give it to him, listens when he needs to, and sometimes doesn't talk enough as he is, 'supposed' to. Otherwise, he's simply down-to-earth, and a good person to talk to.
Ed seems to somewhat match his appearance, being well-collected, patient, and someone easy to talk to. However, he sometimes listens more then he talks, and is relatively matching of his ’lazy’ expression, but that is only in certain situations. Somewhat go-lucky, he is strong in his beliefs, and always guards his respect with a somewhat rough outer core. As said before, he’s very well intelligent, and speaks with a English, low tone, (coming from his father’s gene side), and shows a slight introverted lifestyle in between it all. Sometimes managing to drabble between English and Japanese, Ed isn’t quite accosted to the Japanese language, and is sometimes seen carrying around a small translation book. He manages to show a deep respect and responsible attitude to those who deserve it, and he shows bright integrity most of the time he is in public or in front of someone.
When he talks, Ed generally shows a small smile, but if you are lucky, as stated before, you can get out a bright smile, or a laugh. If interested, the teen would listen intently to the certain person, and even bring eye contact with a curious, extroverted look. He also has a soft, reserved attitude, mainly about his past and of the restrictions that seem to weigh him down emotionally.

History:
Being known as one of most frivolous, busy bodied, blue-collared working man in Los Angeles, Lee Zane was raised under the rich, exotic household name that had begun recent studies into genetic cell research. Almost immediately dedicated to perfection, Lee studied deep into the arts of DNA structure, researching each strand of gene, any allele, that belonged to his father’s and forefather’s pedigree tree. Learning one of his more closer family members were, as he called it, ‘imperfect’, Lee, now a young adolescent, strived his goal to a new form- modifying gene strands.
Digging into the basis of twenty-three chromosomes that make up the human gene, Lee discovered a way to genetically modify a human being before they are born, and at the same time, continued to excel in his classes, and graduated from high school at the ripe age of 16. This propelled him to Harvard, where he continued to earn a doctorate in his bachelor’s degree, and soon astounding students, professors, and scientists alike.
After college, Lee began his biochemist genetic work, applying at the International Genetics Research Facility in Bangkok, Thailand. Continuing his researches, Lee and his colleagues eventually requested a grant for genetic research from Congress, and after five staggering months, gained the funds to continue in his life’s dream. At this moment, Lee is only at the age of 25.
Marie Noel, sister of Silvia Noel, was born in Singapore, had been raised in the eventually doomed Noel name, (but however, she lived farther away from the eventual site of her sister’s and brother’s deaths) Being raised by successful entrepreneurs, Marie started her interests early on to be a writer, constantly drabbling on about ‘The Gray Ghost‘, ‘To Kill A Mockingbird‘, ‘Of Mice and Men‘, and other imported US novels. And only at the age of seven. Realizing their daughter’s reading and writing capabilities, Jin and Minka moved to Manchuria, China to enroll their daughter in prestige high schools, and writing programs that flew over the heads of other children her age.
Speaking with incredible vocabulary, Marie became one of the best writers in her entire elementary, and eventually, middle and high school. Graduating from high school at the age of 17, Marie enrolled in the Sichuan International Studies University, which was located in Chengdu, China. Excelling at the highest rates, Marie became a novelist at the ripe age of 18, and after various studies, including distant languages of Russian, English, German, Korean, German, French, and Spanish. This propelled her to be an incredible writer, catching a novelist job, then later an extra-time job as a novelist.
Continuing her extravagant career as a infamous novelist, Marie extended her language vocabulary to new limits, including Latin and Greek. Typing up some of the best known books known to distant and neighboring countries, Marie also brought out her journalist career, interviewing many of celebrities in the China and Japan provinces. At this moment, Marie is one of the most creative minds in the world, at the age of 23.
Both Lee and Marie met at the IGRF global meeting, the journalist interviewing the biochemist of his up-and-coming work. Right away, the two intelligent minds on different terms, clicked. Both shared common interests, and having almost the same IQ, became acquainted. From sharing his wealth of knowledge of the common strand of chromosome 5, to her obsession of Harper Lee’s short, but prosperous, career.
After many years of dating, the two eventually wed, and moved to Paris, France. Although the marriage, Lee was still slightly hesitant, and secretly researched Marie’s family pedigree, eventually discovering the imperfect DNA allele’s. Despite this, Lee kept his frustration and cautious feelings hidden, happily married to his wife for five years until their first child’s birth. Lee, at the age of 35, and Marie, at 33, had their first child.
In the first seconds of birth, the nurse instantly drew the newborn‘s, a boy, blood to test the genes, and discovered a slight problem that fell as tragic on Lee’s ears. His life expectancy was only calculated at 20 years, and hormonal deficiencies were determined, revealing the child to be ‘imperfect’. Marie, unknown to the atrocity felt by Lee, had begun to name the child, as Rymen, but was immediately halted by Lee, telling his wife that the name was too rich, too good, to be wasted on this imperfect child. Therefore, Ed was given his name, after Marie quickly thought up of her secondary choice as Lee calmly put on an act, to hide his deeper paned frustration with the genetic failure.
Lee’s frustration on the fact he didn’t have a perfect little boy, the man brought up the fact of a second child, almost 3 months after their first child, Ed, was born. Accepting this, Marie was then offered the fact of a genetic, artificial birth, rather then natural. Not wanting to break their marriage, or his slowly cracking shell of a mind. So, after months of preparing, Rymen Noel was born.
Almost instantly overshadowing Ed, Rymen was perfect in every way possible--perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect eyes, perfect fingers, perfect voice, perfect everything. It became apparent to the three year-old Ed that the parents saw everything in Rymen that they didn’t in himself. And Rymen was only one at the time.
Throughout his early childhood, Ed was smart, actually almost brilliant for his age, but however, Rymen was pronounced a prodigy, as well as athletic genius. Rymen was instantly enrolled in baseball, as well as soccer, baseball, including his ’A’ plus school programs that Ed longed to be in. However, despite this, Ed stuck through with his books, along with some running and swimming. Barely noticing their eldest, Lee and Marie divulged their precious, genetic one to be the star of her fourth, fifth, and sixth class as Ed followed suite.
Although ‘beautiful’ as Rymen, Ed was still the least of his parents worries. Even as he progressed to be the top of his class, yet showed slight depressive manner, Lee and Marie continued to marvel over their perfect child, who was now a chess/baseballball/soccer genius. At the age of eight, Ed was a good runner as well as strong swimmer and weightlifter, yet it fell upon deaf ears as they closely nurtured age 7 Rymen.
It was only amazing at how much two parents could possibly focus all of their attention on this genetic child, sometimes even more then their own lives, or even Ed‘s. He, going on from eight to ten, was constantly walking to and fro from the weightlifting gym, to the swimming recreation area, over train tracks and other constant hazards he mastered to make across with his slowly developing agility. However, the unthinkable would only come soon.
At the age of 11, Jean was involved with a horrible car accident, which was terribly brought onto the boy as a drunk driver failed to stop at a stoplight intersection. He was instantly brought to a hospital, and saved barely by heroic, determined doctors, one of them named Ido, who would soon been in Ed’s life later on. But due to the major injuries, Ed had to have, incredibly, both legs, and an arm, surgically worked on, extensively. Almost completely devastated by this terrible misfortune, Ed was dwindled deeper into talk-less, solemn, depression as his parents, for one horrifying reason to another, decided not to visit due to Rymen’s constant extracurricular activities. Spending days, to eventually three weeks in the hospital. There, he befriended Ido.
Ido Turner was one of the most brilliant doctors of his time as well, coming from Rome, Italy, and majoring in a doctorate as well. This made him, along with training and tutoring, one of the better, veteran doctor, slash engineers, of his time. Seeing Ed in his condition only pushed the middle-aged Ido to help him, and eventually, he, naturally of course, re-built Ed. After a few months, he was able to walk, and weeks later, run and sprint. Performing rigorous activity to get him back to the once, but stronger form he had been, Ed eventually restored his ‘power‘. After two years, and at the age of 13, Ed began to talk again.
Developing his running/swimming style yet again, Ed now lived and worked at the hospital, this time learning more about how to treat wounds, and the history behind diseases, and also, during Ido’s night shift at the robotic engineering factory, the many parts of machines, and how to take apart, put back on, the many robotic items. Happily living with Ido, Ed had found a new life, and a new family. Even so, fate was right around the corner.
After saving Ed, Ido had been rocketed into new-found fame as a doctor/surgeon, propelling him to higher class operations. This eventually overshadowed Lee, who by now had raised Rymen to a flawless 12 of age, but had lost focus in his work. Frustrated, Lee tried, but failed at most transfusions, and was eventually dropped to a lower class. Fueled by anger, he made rampant phone and mail threats to the hospital chief, which only made himself work harder.
However, after receiving a warning, Lee decided to fake his anger, and slowly started to rise in the hospital ladder again, this time competing against Ido for the famed spot of Chief, (since the fore-Chief was retiring soon). Attempting to atone for his ‘past mistakes’ Lee seemed like a favorite to win, but even Ed, Ido, and some of the other sector doctors and nurses didn’t believe him. Despite his best efforts, Lee was turned down for the Chief spot, Ido being picked over him in the long run. Infuriated, Lee vowed revenge, eventually getting it.
On a late night, as Ido calmly carried a sleeping, a still13 year-old Ed in his arms, he was viscously attacked by no other than, Lee himself. More powerful then Ido, Lee was able to land several blows on the poor man, he unable to call for help as it was after his night shift at the engineering factory. However, after he dropped Ed, he awoke, and after a vicious, but one-sided fight, he was beat by Lee, the old man running in a hateful rage. However, Ido had been viciously hurt, and because of the major injuries, died after hours of treatment.
Thinking it was his wife’s fault, because of her allele gene mishap, Lee killed her, and fled China with Rymen, who was soundly, and oddly, calm and cool about the matter. Hearing about the murder the next day, as he tried to recuperate from Ido’s death, Ed was slightly remorseful for his mother, but couldn’t forgive him for the nightmarish childhood that was bestowed upon him. Instead, he lived in the hospital, and tried to live to a healthy state, and continued in his ‘happy’ lifestyle.
Filled with thoughtless hate and rage, Lee eventually met a man that went by Hunter, (who was, in fact, Hunter Noel, Ed’s uncle) Not knowing of his last name, Lee decided to join with the man, and raised a powerful, but small, mob army. This mob was mass kill the entire Noel name, who all lived in a clustered spot in Bramin, Italy. Headed by Ryan, as well as pirates that used to be with Hunter’s step-brother, Jon Spirro, they launched a massive, powerful attack that killed the entire village.
However, one woman, who defended her home and her son bitterly, managed to wipe out most of the mob. Even so, she was taken down, and eventually killed by Hunter and Ryan. They didn’t notice two children who watched the horrific slaying, the two eventually going separate paths known as Cora and Jack, the children of the killed woman, Silvia Noel. Jack would eventually kill the entire pirate crew, even Ryan himself, but failed to kill Hunter and his mob. Lee managed to scurry away with Rymen before Jack could get to him.
Spreading word, eventually to Ed, who was now 14, became in a rage himself, targeting Hunter and his mob. However, as he tried to convince Cora and Jack to let him join, he watched as his cousins trailed the path. Jack and Cora: Jack 11 and Cora 16, together, managed to hunt down the mob, and killed Hunter, avenging their family together. However, Lee was still alive. But, not knowing of this, Jack and Cora traveled back to France, and with Ed, they managed to live together for a few short months in order to restore more power in the three for the future ahead, and to enroll everything of their lives. Cora was the first to leave, at age 17, then Jack 12, their lives separating as that was the last Ed would see them together.
Now along, and at the age of 15, Ed was taken in by his grandfather, Orin Jean (who for some reason or another, had separated from the Jean family stead. Living in Japan, Orin had learned of the mass murders of his family, and decided to bring in the teen for the best of his worries. Now, at the age of 15, Jean has currently moved in to his grandfathers apartment at the start of the new school year, and plans to start his life over.

RP sample:
(An old RP sample I did for a cannon character. Sorry for the short-ness.)
It was only minutes into a cold Saturday morning, the leaves of fall now withering away as flakes of snow decorated the city of Gotham, and the people of the metropolis rare to be seen. Save a few night shift workers midway through their job, the streets are almost completely empty to the naked eye. As a sudden rush of wind flows through the air, she exhales a long held sigh, and shifts her aching legs, which are practically bare to the pre-winter nature.
Turning to look down the street of Chestmire Avenue, a near reluctant look starts to fill her round, sweet face. Her long, wavy blonde hair coaxes the back of the finely muscled arm, and a pair of emerald green eyes scans the streets of the thriving urban utopia.
After a while, she let her mind wander, and it slipped back to the moment to the battle against Big Barda and Wonder Woman. Lowering her head for a moment, the young woman traces back to when she had led the Female Furries against them, and almost won.
Shaking her head, then closing the perturbed green eyes, Gilotina crossed her arms over one another, and shifted to her right leg. Since the battle, Lashina had taken over, and as so, she decided to take a more proactive move on the major crime cities. Tonight, Gilotina patrolled Gotham.
Feeling another brush of wind, the extraterrestial martial artist held back a curse, and raised her head to stare down the other side of the Chestmire street, still seeing no signs of criminal activity. Then, came sound of glass breaking, then shrill cry of sirens piercing the peaceful night air. Immediately pinpointing the direction the abrupt sound came from, Gilotina looked behind her, and now, could see the bright flash of alarm lights.
The string of alarmed dogs began, and soon after, the police sirens coming from the west side of the city. Nodding to herself, Gilotina knew that the squad cars wouldn't hit the route fast enough to stop the robbers, so with a slight stretch of her arms and legs, she took off into the night, first leaping off the short apartment complex she had been standing upon.
Landing in a matter of seconds, Gilotina sprinted across the dead-end street, bounding quickly into the alley across the street, then another in a fast-pased chain. As she neared the bank limits, already she could hear the robbers messily making their way with the money.
"All right..."
She whispers, now an excitement mounting as she does herself onto the bank roof, only after a few well-placed jumps. Now standing on the bank ledge, and looking down to observe the heroes apprehend the criminals below, a smile slowly spread onto her lips.
"...here we go!"
With that, she leaps off the bank ledge, falling quickly to the ground below. Aiming it towards the robbers getaway car, as both the heroes and criminals stood off to the side, she lands abruptly on the hood of the vehicle, just as they began to lead them away. Yells, from the panic-stricken criminals, pierce the air, and a gasp clasps the air from the heroes as she calmly braces herself for the impact, and then, calmly shuffles off to prepare for the short, one-ended fight.
Three of the vigilantes, who were oddly simple, had apprehended the criminals, and immediately, all of them open fire, each with a simple ensemble of twin pistols. Ducking to the right in a swift, quick barrel-roll, Gilotina avoids the bullets with graceful display, and sprints to the right of the group. Heading for the first two targets, she smiles as they hold back a gasp, then flinch slightly as she lashes forward, and propells both of her legs to the sides, into their apparent glass jaws. They almost immediately fall into unconsciousness, and slump over the car seats.
The last one, who was yelling in disbelief, is the next to go. First, she takes cover from the fired bullets, and sighs nonchalantly as they richochet off the metal paneling. Then with a heave of breath, she takes hold of the roof, and plulls herself up into a leap over the car, backwards as she twirls in a acrobatic fashion towards the stricken vigilante.
Landing her legs around his neck, she almost immediately twirls backwards, pivoting the man quickly, and headfirst, into the asphalt ground. Groaning, the man falls limp, then flinches slightly as Gilotina steps over him. Now seeing the police, coming in backup, in the distance, she sighs, and starts off towards the eastern part of the metropolis.

Power
| Kyo Kobushi |
Kyo Kobushi:: (Large Fists)

| Above-Normal Flexibility | Abnormal Sensory |

"Men..."
