Shinigami
Name: Hisagi, Shuuhei
Age: 19-23
Gender: Male
Rank: Fukutaicho, Lieutenant, Vice-Captain
Division: Ninth
Appearance:
Shuuhei Hisagi
Unmanageable black [almost purple] hair sits upon his cranium, as quite a few unlike filaments of hair seem to stick up and give his hair a barbed manifestation. Just by glancing at his hair, you can surmise that Shuuhei’s general fascia is that of a punk. At the bottom of his décolletage, just over where his shoulders start, is a jet-black collar with rings incised into it, like a pattern. His visage is rather striking [if you asked any girl that has seen him], perhaps due to the three wounds that lengthen from right below his hairline, to his jaw, or it could be his teenage-like exterior. He may not have been so tempting if it hadn’t been for the hollow mishap that took place so long ago. From his right cheek and across his nose, and ending on his left cheek, is a gray bandage. Just below that, is a tattoo of the numeral “69”, possibly standing for the Gemini symbol.
As for physical description, that’s as far as it goes, but for outfits, it has only just begun. Shuuhei’s chemise is the regular kimono top, but apparently, he has customized it into his own version. The sleeves have been torn off, and that gave it the analogous look of an American “muscle shirt”, or tank top. As a result of the modification, the interior white shirt’s sleeves have been folded over to give it a more gentlemanly appearance. [But it doesn’t help him much] To show his authority [not to captains though] in the ranks of the Gotei 13, he wears a badge on his left arm, bearing the insignia of the ninth division. Parallel [on the right arm] to the lieutenant’s badge, is a black strap that is alike to the choker around his neckline. His hakama is a bit longer than it should be, so it covers up the top of his feet, and part of the tabi socks and straw sandals he wears. On certain occasions, he wears his zanpakuto on his back, but most of the time it lingers at his side.
Like a normal shinigami, Shuuhei also as a gigai accompanying is usual garb. Most of the time he wears a long-sleeved navy chemise, bearing dark blue buttons to give it the look of a dress shirt, but usually it doesn’t work since it is unbuttoned halfway to his stomach. His pants are a pair of black jeans, held up by a normal dark brown belt. There is nothing special about the belt, besides the fact that it has a black line decorating it all around. A pair of shined black dress shoes adorns his feet as this outfit gives him the appearance as a carefree businessman.
Zanpakutō:
Dendou Tenshu
Appearance:
Like most zanpakuto, Shuuhei's takes the form of a katana. So technically, there is nothing special about it at all. Except for the fact that is exceeds the length of a normal katana by about twenty or thirty centimeters. The hilt of his weapon is a light purple color, opposing the silvery color of the blade.
True Form:
The spirit of Dendou Tenshu takes the appearance of a man, bearing dull green eyes looking as if they have been withered by age. His hair is light gray [almost turning white] and the beard hanging from his jawline, is long, only stopping at his knees. This appearance gives him the look of an old man, much like Yama-jii, but more pale and withered skin. Dendou Tenshu's choice of attire is a simple white kimono, [like what Rukia wore on her way to execution] and a pair of straw sandals on his feet.
Shikai:
Call Out Phrase: Shu-to waga hantaisha daun, Dendou Tenshu! [Shoot our adversary down, Dendou Tenshu!]
Appearance: Once the incantation has been said, Shuuhei's zanpakuto will vanish into his arms, as if Dendou Tenshu was lending him his power. The shinigami's arms will be covered in a gold light, sort of like static electricity. Above the lieutenant's and his opponent's heads, is a dark gray rain cloud, threatening to strike any moment and in a shadow behind Shuuhei, is a faded appearance of his zanpakuto spirit.
Abilities:
Shuuhei's punches are thirty percent more effective, he is able to electrocute someone with just his arm, and he is able to call upon the rain cloud and allow it to strike his opponent.
Bankai: N/A

First Restraint Obstruction - A binding technique that makes it so you are unable to move or difficult to move.

Incantation: Lord, the shattered vault! Pale the midnight rose. Silver rain, broken sky. Sigh the man's cry in the deep sepulture of cowards. Carry the arched fool to the gates of torn hearts!
•
Shunpo - Flash Step - A technique also known as flash step. It allows a Shinigami to move a great distance very quickly within seconds. It makes a 'swish' sound.
Personality:
Hisagi Shuuhei can be very solemn when it comes to doing things that need to be concluded straight away. And his serious tone makes him come off as bitter and loathsome, but he’s just trying to conclude the chore at hand. To be honest, Shuuhei loves to have fun and he loves to hang around Renji Abarai, or Izuru Kira. But the preponderance of his guise tends to be tremendously somber and composed; he never panics in almost any kind of circumstance. He seems to be very honorable, like Kaname Tosen, his former Taicho.
In spite of his somber temperament, Shuuhei is rather perverted, even though this part of his personality almost never shows itself. He is very accountable, [although he didn’t ascend to captain rank] and like Kira, he took on the role of Kaname Tosen and did all of the captainly work, such as all that horrifying [mind-raping] paperwork that was left behind and of course, acting as captain. All of this is substantiation of Shuuhei’s dependability and his seriousness when it comes to working, but he expects nothing from Yama-jii. [Such as being the new captain]
When Shuuhei is in mid-battle, he exhibits great quantities of talent, and scarcely depends on his zanpakuto at all. He would really prefer hand-to-hand conflict if he can, unless he needs a weapon to assault his enemy. Even though he is not a kido-master, like Nanao Ise, or Hinamori Momo, he seems to be very skilled in the use of it. Although he respects his superiors greatly, he never feels like he should do whatever they say and tend to their every beck and call, unless it’s his own taicho. However, since Tosen has gone and was marked as a turncoat to Soul Society, he don’t think the duty of tending to a new taicho, will be put into action too soon.
History:
Although he didn’t seem it, Shuuhei Hisagi lived in one of the poorer districts in the Rukongai. He grew up close to his so-called ‘parents’ and even his ‘sister’. When the shinigami noticed that he had a peculiar reiatsu, [compared to some of the spirits in the Rukongai] he was allowed to become one of them. Not too long after that, he was enrolled into the academy, not sure of what achievements or tragedies that might befall him as a shinigami, or a student. Although he failed the entrance exam twice, he was famous among new students and even those in the Rukongai. Shuuhei was already taking missions from the Gotei 13, although he was still just a mere student. As an order from the captains, he was to take Freshman Class One on a field lesson to perform konso. Two of his classmates were with him to lead it as well. Everything was fine, until the end of the lesson arrived, and the class had met up with a group of enormous hollows.
Shuuhei was a bit furious when both of his classmates were killed off, trying to fend off the hollows, and he ordered all of the freshmen to run for safety as he tried to hold off the hollows as he waited for some sort of assistance from the Gotei 13. He was quickly overpowered as he lost the sight in his right eye, when a hollow left three long scars along the side of his face. He would have died if Kira Izuru, Abarai Renji, and Hinamori Momo hadn’t turned back to help him. The help they had received was Aizen-taichou and his lieutenant, Ichimaru Gin. Aside from that one incident, Shuuhei graduated from the academy with [almost] flying colors and he was immediately put into the ninth division as lieutenant after he achieved Shikai. His captain, was Kaname Tosen.
Before Rukai Kuchiki’s execution, Shuuhei accompanied Tosen-taicho, Komamura-taicho, and the lieutenant, Iba Tetsuzaemon to confront the captain of the eleventh division, Zaraki Kenpachi because he was assisting the ryoka. Although Kenpachi insisted that he could take on all four, his third and fifth seat remained to challenge the lieutenants. Ayasegawa Yumichika and Madarame Ikkaku led Shuuhei and Iba away from the captains, and begun their battles. Shuuhei fighting Yumichika, and Ikkaku fights Iba. Although at the beginning, Shuuhei was winning and chided Yumichika for thinking that a fifth seat like him couldn’t defeat a lieutenant like himself. That was when the fifth seat released his zanpakuto and defeated him. Soon after the battle, he became weary for weeks, but wasn’t injured enough to be treated by the fourth division.
When Aizen carried out his plan, Shuuhei was devastated by the fact that Tosen betrayed Soul Society. And soon after that, he went to visit the grave of Tosen’s old friend, and there he met Komamura, his old captain’s best friend. And then they both made a vow to save Tosen from himself and his ‘justice thing’. Soon after that, he met Rangiku Matsumoto and she invited him to drink with her and Kira, although he already passed out. He accepted but only found out that the lieutenant of the third division needed some serious attention and Rangiku only ignored him so she could keep drinking.
After his captain betrayed Soul Society, Shuuhei has usually been in the company of Izuru Kira, or Abarai Renji. During the time that Aizen's army had been fighting against Soul Society, he and Komamura had broken their vow and failed. They never had the chance, but that doesn't mean that in the future, they will not try again.

The ticking of the clock seemed to echo through the barren room as it tore away at the so-called 'sanity' of Shuuhei Hisagi, lieutenant of the ninth division. His elbows sat on the table, as his firm hands gripped the sides of his head and only parts of his hair; as if he was ready to rip it all out. His tired orbs, taking on the color of a dark gray, darted back and forth across the white paper. To his eyes, it seemed that the words were turning into black swirls, taunting his eyes... "Augh!" He let out a yell, as if to relieve his mind of the incessant stress all of this paperwork caused him. "Shuddup, ya d**n clock!" The shatter of glass was heard, signaling that the fukutaicho had thrown something hard at the clock. But it couldn't have been categorized as 'hard', it was only his left sandal.
Shuuhei let out an inhaled breath that had been held in for way too long. "Ah..." He breathed, trying to calm down. His gaze averted from the broken clock to the numerous stacks of paperwork. It was up to him to fulfill the duties of a captain, since Tosen-taicho-- no, Tosen betrayed Soul Society and was marked as a traitor. Along with Aizen and Ichimaru. Paperwork was not something that he could get adjusted to. When he actually had a captain, the paperwork was always done, and almost in record time. That is, if you actually counted the minutes. 'I gotta take a break...' He thought, agreeing with it right away. There was still some stress lurking somewhere in his mind, but he was going to find some way to relieve himself of it. He slid the door open and when he saw who (or what) was out there, he didn't slide it back fast enough.
"..." Shuuhei blinked as he rubbed his eyes. He heard a giggle and recognized it as no other than the lieutenant of the tenth division. "Matsumoto!" He wasn't in an all-too great mood because of his duty, but Rangiku didn't seem to notice. "Aww... this picture is all fuzzy... I need a new one of you, Hisagi!" There was a great amount of cheer in her voice. It was unbelievable. "No." He said firmly, about to completely slide the door close. It was stuck. and when he found the cause, he saw Rangiku's hand keeping it from closing. "You seem... angrier. I say we go out for sake and clear your mind." His arm fell victim to his strength and he was pulled out the door and through the paths of Seireitei. As much as he liked drinking, he didn't want to go by himself when he was in danger of getting his picture taken. Then he saw Izuru.
"Kira!" Shuuhei shouted, grabbing the third division lieutenant by the arm. The blonde looked surprised, if not shocked. "You're coming for sake." The lieutenant said bluntly, as Matsumoto's pace became quicker. Then he realized bringing Izuru was a bit of a mistake. "Um, Hisagi-san? Do you and Matsumoto-san usually go to the tenth division quarters to drink?" He gulped just slightly. They have become victims to Matsumoto and the Shinigami Women's Association.
