Quincy
Name: Jinsei Ishida
Jinsei=Life
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jinsei is said to take some appearance of his grandfather. The most noticeable is that the two have a dark shade of blue hair. In the night is can be easily mistaken as black when it is truly blue. It is pretty long for most boys as it reaches to the end of his neck and on the front, most of the strands can easily get into his eyes. Still he usually make sure that they don't just in case he is fighting with a lot of coming of course.
His eyes are soft and emerald green. Their not really that big but they do usually show a lot of emotions. Their not soft though as they are almost like one's of an average teen. Usually though they look around at their surrounding and their mind work trying to figure things out.
The clothes he usually wear is some kind of jacket, any kind of it. Even if it is summer you'll still see him wearing a jacket anyway. It's a strange trait but he feels weird when he isn't wearing a jacket. His favorite is a black jacket with a white collar. He doesn't have much care for the clothes he wear much and for the pants, he just put on some random jeans and be done with it. In other words his fashion is quite simple.
Techniques:
Hirenkyaku: A quincy's version of Sonido or Shunpo. It also allow Jinsei to fly as he doesn't have a spiritual form.
Wolke: A silver tube technique that cause explosions.
Suzaku: A move that he had to make up himself. It isn't very special, it is pretty much just like shooting multiple arrows but with a different style. Instead of doing it all at the same time, he shoots one arrow that splits itself up. Now if he adds a lot of reitsu he will be able to make the arrows go on fire and glow red. If he has a quincy bow the arrows would become sharp feathers, almost like the phoenix, Suzaku. This move usually tires him out as he is still quite inexperience in battle.
Bow: Jinse's bow is like most quincy bows. There are some differences though as the bow takes more of a solid shape rather than a spiritual form. The bow is a white bow that barely bends. It looks almost like a stick with strings, still if you look closely you can see it that actually bends. Unlike Uryu's bow, a bow that shoots multiple arrows at a rapid rate, Jinse's bow is more for accuracy. The maximum he can shoot up to is twenty arrows at a time. Unlike most arrows, his can deflect each other so it would be easier to aim at the opponent or if he focuses more reitsu he can make the two arrows explode. When he uses the quincy gloves though he can actually shoot rapidly and a split. Also he can shoot up to about 50.
Personality:
Jinsei is a gentle boy who doesn't like to hurt anyone. He is really great at making friends and can see to understand others well. When you first met him though he might seems to be a little quiet. Not the shy kind of quiet or the fact that he hates him but rather he usually day dreams when he isn't around his friends. It's not that he is trying to ignore you but he is easily bored and amused at the same time. So it's easy to get his attention but because of that, it is also easy to lose his attention. That is why sometimes when you talk to him and drag on and on he just seems to tune out to you, unless it is something important enough to still hold onto his attention that is.
Because he is a gentle boy he well try to help whoever that needs help. He will do his best but sometimes he might messes up. He tries his best to cheer others up when their down and will even try to invite them to his house if they need somewhere to stay. With this aspect a lot of people usually try to take advantage of him in school and his agenda is usually packed since he just can't learn how to say 'no'. Well, at least he still have free time on the weekend since no one can bother him at home. He knows that he need to learn on how to not help people but it is like a habit. If he says no he just gets the feeling that he is letting them down and that is usually what stops him from denying them. Still, at least he has some fun sometimes when helping them out.
His gentleness seems to attract girls around him by accident. He isn't interested in dating or anything but he seems to just accidentally get girls to like him by helping them. Some example would be when a girl gets dumped or hated he would always come up to them and try to comfort them. When he says it he really means it and so they would look at him as a boy friend or something like that but he won't even notice their feelings for him. He'll simply think of it as them being happy again and he'll try to help them. This make him very clueless about the world around him because he doesn't understand girls at all. He simply think of them as other people without knowing that he is actually attracting them by accident. Of course the crush usually only last for about a week or two before it goes away, but there are some that actually still stay.
Since he is usually off day dreaming it is easy to catch him off guard. It is also very obvious that he is day dreaming by the way he looks either up at the sky or at the ground. Sometimes he might even stare at the wall and day dream. Surprising him usually make him jump up and do something that would make him look like a klutz, but then again a lot of teens are like that. Still, because he day dreams he is very inventive and creative.
Just like everyone the boy has a lot of fears such as blood or guns. The one thing he hates the most if blood though due to his past. He can take a small amount but once it pours out a lot he would literally just get on his knees and his eyes would shake. This might also be the reason why he rarely ever actually fight because of the fact that it might scare him. He also fear of death but then again doesn't everyone? The worse fear he has though is letting his friends down, even at the smallest things he'll most likely beat himself up. This make him very hard on himself when it comes to trust as he will pretty much do anything for them.
At school he has a lot of friends, especially those that are girls rather than males. That might have to be the fact that he is someone who comfort others rather than someone who play sports or something like that. He doesn't mind, having mostly girls as his friends since he really doesn't see that much of a difference between the two. No, he doesn't get his nails done or anything. Most of the girls he hang out with are normal girls and know that boys don't like to do that. Because girls seems to be attracted to him, a lot of single male come up to him and ask him how does he get that many girls. Since he is quite clueless in the world of dating he would just say, talk to them and then you'll be their friends.
Now, even if he is clueless about dating he does know a little about love, like the commitment that you need. He seriously doesn't think that he is up to it since he is too young and the fact that he is a quincy. After all, who would want to marry to someone who claims that he can see spirits. Sure he couldn't lie but he hates to do that since it feels as if he is betraying their trust. There is also the fact that he doesn't think he can protect them as he claims to be weak. Then again, maybe he really is weak, it's hard to tell.
He is usually a great student but not really the top of the class, maybe top ten but that is most likely it. He usually studies at his house in the night or maybe at the shrine sometimes. The shrine is his favorite place to go to since it is a quiet place to be. The river is too loud with the rushing water. Also he actually fears going near the river because of what he did back there. Even though he is a great student and makes a lot of friends though, he doesn't stay after school much.
He spends most of his time at home in his room and playing the guitar, a special talent that he has, well other than being able to see, touch and fight spirits anyway. He is a fan of the guitar since it calms him down and there is always room to improve. Not many people outside of the house knows about this as he is actually not comfortable with people knowing that he plays the guitar. The reason is because if they know then they might ask him to play a song for them but he is far too shy to actually do that. He likes to write music a lot and maybe sometimes try to play a song that he heard and sing the lyrics.
Another hobby he has would be writing stories. Most of his stories though are usually based on the people he have met and himself. His favorite that he has written was a short story of what happens when you meet a friend one day but the next day they were gone. It is actually based on his past but after his friends read it he would usually just say that he just made it up. Unlike with the guitar he is comfortable with his friends reading his stories because he is better at writing stories. Sometimes it might even be his own little way of telling his friends about his interaction with spirits. Of course he doesn't come right out and say it since then people would simply think that he is a freak.
With the generosity that he has, he also seems to like to make friends with outcasts since he feels sorry for them. Also, he doesn't want people to feel lonely like the way that he had. Of course even though he is friends with them, it doesn't that mean totally just trust them but rather just talk to them about normal stuff. Still, it does help people get to know him more. Sometimes though, people who he is friends with get somewhat popular and can make friends on their own. When that happens the friend and him become more of an acquaintance. He doesn't really mind this since the reason why he would make friends with someone that he doesn't know so much is so they can make other friends. There are a few that actually still be his friends and those are the ones that he would actually trust.
He is also very carrying for others as he always burden himself when people are sick or sad. If he is involved with them being sad in the littlest way, like even being there when the event happens he would always blame himself. He would always state that it was his fault that they were sad, if he hadn't done this or that then their sadness wouldn't happen. He always seems to blame whatever troubles others on himself which is a great burden as he really thinks that it was his fault. This usually causes a lot of stress which sometimes give him a break down, but if that happens he makes sure that he does it where there isn't anyone that he knows. That way he won't burden anyone with whatever problems that he has since that is one of the things he hates the most. To simply burden others is to pretty much use them in his opinion, so does that means that he wants to be used? That question he never really know.
Just like everyone he has a secret that always haunts him. It is also the reason why he hates blood and you can easily see it when he is either near the river or a large sight of blood. He would usually go to his knees and close his eyes. Sometimes he might even say something as if he is talking to someone when he really isn't. He is simply talking to himself or maybe even the past sometimes in his mind. It might even seems weird, to suddenly breakdown like that. So far though no one have known about what the secret is or why he always break down like that. Actually only his family knows that he breaks down but doesn't know the reason why.
When he is around his family, he always seems to never day dream at all. Still, even though most of his family can see spirits he usually rather not talk about it at all. Instead he usually tries to switch the subject and talk about things that normal people would talk about. If that doesn't work he would usually just try to eat alone as he rather try to separate himself from the spirit world or life. He isn't so sure which one it truly is but he actually hates his powers. He wishes that he is a normal human, only having to worry about homeworks, tests or the future. It isn't because he thinks that he is better off without the dead. No, it is something completely different, he thinks that the dead are better off without him for many reasons. This doesn't make his family fully happy as they think that it is a waste and that he might actually live a great life because of spirits.
Even though Jinsei doesn't like to be in contact with spirits so much he actually tries to help some pass on. None of his family know this though as he doesn't talk about it or show any signs of that. Most of the time he tries to make sure that the spirit is happy with the last sight that they will see. Also, because of his gentle nature some of them don't want to leave because of that. Most of them though are either girls or little kids so he always promise that he'll see them again someday and when that day comes they won't part ways. He really isn't sure what he promise will come true but he knows that it is needed in order to let the spirit be able to move on and get out of this world of war.
Still, because he doesn't interact with spirits that much it is rare for him to actually fight a hollow. That doesn't mean that he isn't skilled at it though but rather because he holds back since he really can do it easily. The only problem is that his pasts always haunts him in battle which not only makes him hold back but it also distracts him pretty well. Whenever he battles he always try to aim for the mask but sometimes he doesn't shoot as hard as he should because he knows that the hollow was once a spirit. If he does battle with all he's worth than he would most likely depend on his accuracy and speed. He has not care for power much because if he can shoot more than one at a time and most of them hit, it would be pretty much like having on power shot.
History:
Jinsei Ishida was born on October 29 at six in the morning. The moment he was born it was quite obvious that he looked like his grandfather with the dark shade of blue hair. He was born into quite a wealthy family as his parents were both company owners, and not just the normal ones though. Even though he had his grandfather's hair, he also have his mother's eyes, the emerald green eyes. Still, he had something that none of his parents had, an ability to see those that are dead. Yes, he was able to see spirits even though at first he only could sense them as his powers weren't fully developed yet.
Growing up in a wealthy family he was force to learn a lot more than other kids. He also didn't see his parents that much and have pretty much no connection to them at all. If one were to ask what he thinks of his parents he would always respond that they are nice people and that would be it. He wouldn't go any deeper as he himself don't even know what kind of people they are. Of course you couldn't leave a kid to live alone so he always had his own personal maid following him around. She is about twenty when he was born and so she knew how to take care of him when he was young. Sometimes he thinks that she is more of a mother to him than his own mother. Still, his parents try to pretend to be like an ordinary family and eat with each other about twice every month. He hated them for it, to pretend that they were still his parents just because they do that.
Since he was rich he was sent to an all boy private school where he was bored. He didn't talk to people that much because they bored him. They were all so confident about their money that they didn't even earn. Even more was that he hated how the teachers seems to only want more and more money. At a young age he had already learn about the concept of money and how everyone lust for it. With that he had never trusted anyone around him at all. Since all of them were mainly after the things that he had. With that in mind why would he trust anyone around him when he knows that they well sooner or later get back at him by using him. So instead he would always kept himself a good distance away from the people at school and town. The only people he trust was his cousins and his maid, Primula.
At the age of six he was already in second grade as he was allowed to skip one. During that age his grandparents invited him to stay over with them for a while. At first he thought it was some kind of trick but did it anyway holding his guard up as he didn't trust them at all. Even though they were family, he just looked a t hem as if they were everyone else, someone who only want to use him because of his fortune. When he was over they gave him a cross but he declined it. He even asked how much they were going to charge him for it. Yes, he truly did not trust them one bit. In the end though they secretly gave it to the maid while he walked around the house. That was when he first saw Hinote and his skills at the bows. He thought that it was amazing, to see someone do this. Was he planning on being one when he grow up?
Another thought was that the boy was strange. The way that he actually trust other people. Was he some kind of dog that will follow whoever that gave him food? He didn't know at all but still, he kind of liked the boy and wanted to be friends with him. During that time though he didn't know what the word 'friends' meant at all. The only thing he knew was being rich, managing money himself and servants. So the first time they met was very strange as Jinsei came up and said that he'll buy him as a servant. He'll give Hinote whatever he wanted as long as he was a servant. To that though, his cousin replied no because he already had what he wanted. Still, the six year old didn't give up on this and the two started out at a bad edge. Angry that someone had actually decline his offer he stomped out of the house. To think, someone would actually decline money. His cousin was not a dog, only a moron.
As years went by everything was pretty normal and he would go to his grandparents house just to see Hinote shoot. He himself wanted to shoot too and be better than his cousin. He bought an expensive bow with the extra money that he had and bought a bow and a set of arrows. He would try to shoot it but it would always miss and he blamed it on the bow rather than himself. He stated that the bow was simply not good enough for him and his grandparents was sad to see one of their grandchildren be so spoiled. He never blamed on himself and once time he was so angry that he tried shooting it at Primula. If it wasn't for Hinote's skills the maid might have been hit. Once again he stomped out of the house, amazingly though the maid did not quite knowing that the boy actually had a hard life at home.
After that incident he stopped visiting Hinote and his grandparents. Instead he lived a normal life not knowing anything about spirits at all. That was till at the age of nine he was walking around town. Around his neck was the cross that the maid had convinced him to wear that day. He simply said that if the kids make fun of him he'll make sure that she will be miserable for the rest of her life. Walking from school during that day he saw a girl with long raven black hair and she was wearing a festival dress. It was strange because there wasn't going to be a festival for another three weeks so why was see wearing one. Also no one could see her but him. He didn't understand that and because he was fascinated he came up to her and noticed that she was crying. What a crybaby, that was his impression about her. She was also annoying him as she kept on following him and crying. He tried to bribe her but she didn't take the money at all. Noticing an ice cream truck he bought her some ice cream just so she would shut up.
Soon he was able to learn her name which was Mizuki. He also learned that she wasn't alive, instead she was a spirit that died because she drowned. Being a little kid he half believed it. So he asked her why hasn't she moved on and she stated that it was because she was waiting for someone to help her move on. He simply nodded and told her that he'll meet her at the river next week as he was busy this week. What he didn't expect was that his grandparents would actually come to his house and live with him for a while. He knew that it wouldn't be easy to sneak out. So they stayed there for about a week and then left. He couldn't go anywhere for that week and for the first time he actually felt guilt over it because he felt as if someone had actually needed him. It wasn't for his money though, it was actually for him.
He went to the river a week late to see that she was still waiting there for him. The boy was actually happy, to see that she had actually waited for him even though he took longer than he was supposed to. On that day he had made his first friend who was a spirit. His icy shell started to melt and soon he was like an ordinary kid...around her anyway. He have also heard about public school, from her, how great it was, and how many friends that she made there. From her words it didn't sound like middle school at all and he thought about going there.
Three months later he decided that they should take the chain off her chest since it seems to be a burden. She agreed to it and so he pulled out the chain only to see his friend transform into a monster in front of his very eyes. By taking the chain out he had transformed her into a hollow. The hollow tried to kill him and didn't seem to have Mizuki in there anywhere. He didn't understand, what happened? Why did she transform into a monster all of a sudden? Was this a nightmare? He really wished that it was, but it wasn't. When the hollow smacked him he felt pain and fell. The necklace ripped off and fell onto his hand. Right then it transformed into a bow, but there was no arrow anywhere. He ran around looking for any kind of stick and soon found one. Grabbing the stick he aimed at her and shot the stick. When he did it though, a blue arrow pierced through the stick and stroke the hollows mask. Blood fell onto the ground and he cried. He had just killed his own friend! He can never see her again! The shock from this made him fainted. While he was unconscious, Mizuki, at her last moment stated " The reason why I was here was so I could meet my knight and you have became my knight who will always protect me. Yes, Jinsei, you have became my red knight and for that I thank you as you have heard my voice while everyone else ignored me." After that she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek before passing on.
When he woke up he found out that it had been about two weeks since the day he killed his friend. He felt horrible and didn't go to school at all. He also woke up in the Ishida hospital where he saw Hinote. Right there he apologized to everyone, for what he had done. He didn't tell them what made him this way as he rather not talk about it. He did show them that he can use a quincy bow and he trained with Hinote. Unlike the first time though he wasn't competitive. Even more to his personality change was that he switched to public school. His parents was amazed about this but they didn't do anything about it since they have other kids. Also, now, Jinsei will never forget about Mizuki as she will always be on his mind. The first spirit he have ever met and killed at the age of ten.
RP sample:
What to do, what to do. As the sun was setting a young boy was wondering around the river. No one could see him, though, and if they did, they would most likely think he is a weirdo. Why? Well, first of all his hair and clothes clashed together, the color of black and white. Moving around the river he found it relaxing, just walking in the water. He love the cold slowly tickling his skin? He wasn't so sure if he had skins since he was a hollow after all and they are dead. Scooping his hands into the water he soon made a small puddle in his hand. There he can see his reflection and grinned. Even though the a lot of people don't see him, even though the shinigamis hated him, at least the water didn't. The water can see him, and it liked him, that was why it never ran away or maybe it was because it couldn't run away. After all, he can always track it down. Letting the water fall back onto the blue road he watched the water move into one straight road.
His eyes gentle unlike most hollows, were gentle, it doesn't hold any blood lust at all. Instead it held as if he wanted to have friends. The humans were lucky, they barely have anything to worry about. They weren't looked as beasts, and they were taken care of when they were young unlike the hollows. They actually had real parents, unlike him. He didn't even know if he actually had a mom or a dad, maybe he just appear from a spirit and that was it. He didn't know at all, he barely knew anything. That was why he looked up at Aizen and Gin, they were his friends or maybe even family. Whenever he have a question they would listen to him and answer. They were always so kind to him, unlike the espadas, the shinigamis and the humans who just look straight through him. They can never see how he was like. How he hated battle and hated blood. He hated to be forced to kill but if he have to then he will. At the same time though, a part of his instinct, wanted to fight. His blood danced with joy with each blow he strikes, each enemy he kill and every blood that jumped out from the target's body.
Soon he jumped out of the river and looked up at the sky. It was a good day today, barely any clouds can be seen. Well, that should mean that there won't be rain for awhile...he thinks. He wasn't really sure though, it was hard to tell. He wasn't really good at predicting the weather since it was pretty much at random for him. Walking along the riverside he stared at his reflection. He can see himself looking straight back. Still, he remembered that dream he had, about someone who looked almost like him, except with white hair, triple six on his forehead and eyes that showed anger and sadness. He didn't know why or who that exactly was but then again it might be that voice. The voice that called out to him when he was about to die. He remembered what the people around that boy said, how he was a monster, no worse how he was Satan. It must have hurt, to hear them call you that. To be hated so much, even though it wasn't him, he felt sad just to hear those words.
To be hated, to be feared, to be killed. That is the fate of all hollows, even the old ones. To be hated because of your appearance, to be feared by your instinct and to be killed just because you want to survive. That wasn't fair, it was just not right! Why were they killed for that? They just wanted to eat, it wasn't like the shinigamis doesn't eat, it wasn't like humans don't eat animals and worse, they kill themselves! So why are the hollows treated so much worse then them? How in the world does that make any sense!? What are they thinking as they ridicule him? How was he like a monster? All he wants is to survive, to see the next day and to have a family to come home to! That was just like everyone else! So what made him a monster? What makes him hated and feared? What reason do they have to destroy him? What reason do they have to call that boy Satan? Why don't the just understand that, in this world, hollows, like everyone else, just want to survive?
Angry at the thoughts he focused reitsu onto his forefingers and soon lightning struck down on him. It wasn't normal lightning though as only those with high reitsu can see it. Striking down onto the boy he pointed onto the sky again and shot out the lighting. His eyes showing anger at the fact that people hated him for such stupid reasons. Soon though he calmed down and looked at the clouds that he had hurt and his eyes widen. Maybe the reason why he was hated was simply because, of his powers. Maybe he was just too strong for his own good. If that was the case maybe he should end up dead, but he doesn't want that. He still want to live, just like everyone else. To see the next sunrise, to smile onto a new day, eat ice cream, study humans, wave 'hi' to the sun and maybe even make friends. Eventually he saw a guy, his hair long, he didn't do anything though but simply walk pass the man. His eyes clearly showing sadness. It was just one of those days, where the thoughts eventually get to him.

History:
IIII
